Easy Pretzel Lady Bugs

  • 24 Mini Pretzels
  • 1 cup of Red Candy Melting Chips
  • 24 Brown M&Ms
  • 48 Candy Eyes or Mini White chocolate Chips
  • 96 Black candy Pearls - 1 shaker
  1. Lay the mini pretzels out on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  2. Heat the red candy chips by microwaving for 30 seconds, stirring and repeating until melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the melted chocolate to the corner of a zippered bag and clip a tiny piece off of the corner to pipe.
  4. Pipe the candy over the inside of the pretzel to fill it completely. Smooth with finger if necessary.
  5. Place an M&M for the head on the rounded end of the pretzel.
  6. Place 4 pearls for spots.
  7. Use a small dot of melted chocolate as "glue" to attach eyes to head.
  8. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow candy to set.
