Easy Crockpot French Toast

Ingredients
  • TOAST:
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • TOPPING:
  • ¾ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • ½ cup of pecans
Instructions
  1. Cut bread into roughly ¾" thick slices.
  2. Mix together all of the topping ingredients, in a small bowl, and set aside.
  3. Spray the inside of a 6 qt. crockpot with non-stick spray.
  4. In another bowl beat together eggs, milk, cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
  5. Place a layer of bread into your slow cooker. Then top with a layer of topping. Repeat for remaining layers.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the layers of bread and cook for 4 hours on low.
  7. Serve warm.
