Simple Apple Cider Glazed Donuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil over medium heat to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar in a shallow bowl and mix well. Set this to the side.
  • In another bowl, beat the powdered sugar and apple cider with a whisk until smooth. Set to the side.
  • Separate the dough into 8 biscuits.
  • Using small round cutter, cut a hole in the center of each biscuit.
  • Place the biscuits in the hot oil and fry each side until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil, and dust with the cinnamon sugar mixture and place on a cooling rack.
  • Also cook the donut holes until golden brown and dust with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Drizzle each donut and donut hole with glaze.
