Cream Cheese and Macadamia Stuffed Crescents

Ingredients
  

  • ROLLS:
  • 1 can Crescent Dinner rolls
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 tsp cool strong Coffee
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup chopped Macadamia Nuts
  • GLAZE:
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 tsp Shortening

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a cookie sheet with non stick spray.
  • Combine the powdered sugar, cream cheese, coffee and vanilla and blend well.
  • Add in macadamia nuts and stir to combine.
  • Separate the crescent dough and spoon about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto one end (on the wider end) of each piece of dough.
  • Roll the dough, starting at the filling end, up to the opposite point and place on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool 5 minutes.
  • To make the glaze, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave by heating in 30 second intervals then stirring. Repeat until smooth.
  • Drizzle over rolls.
